Ford Galaxy minivan will appear on the European auto-market already in the middle of the year. The fourth-generation model will share its platform with CD4 and power units with the new S-Max. The new Ford Galaxy will debut in March at the Geneva Motor Show. Ford promises to bring to the European market a whole armada of new models in 2015. S-Max, C-Max and Grand C-Max, the C-Max Energi, Coupe and convertible Mustang, hot-hatch Focus ST, the Edge crossover, new versions of Mondeo. The Galaxy is actually a large S-Max. The model will be based on the same front-drive platform of CD4 with front Struts McPherson and optional multi disk clutch connects the rear wheels. With regard to the power units, the seven seats car will have turbo diesel 2.0 engine with the power up to 120, 150 and 180 HP as well as 160/180-horsepower-Turbo engine 1.5 and 2.0.
In addition to the spacious interior transformation opportunities (second and third rows of seats-are with electric folding) Galaxy the fourth generation will also receive adaptive steering, which changes the gear ratio depending on the speed, the steering column with powered front row passenger seat, the intelligent servo drive luggage door sensor in the bumper, analog-to-digital instrument panel, SYNC multimedia complex 2 with 8-inch touch screen and voice control plus front massage chairs with heating and ventilation.
