Iowa will replace driving license with smartphone application

An American State Iowa is going to recognize mobile application as a driving license. Thus, drivers will be able to carry only a phone that would be able to act as a universal identity card. A digital copy of the documents will be free to all owners of a driving license. Development of a special mobile application is already underway. The system will be available already in 2015. The anti-forgery system uses a special bar codes and moving holograms. Access rights will be implemented using a fingerprint scan or enter the special password.
