How to deal with a dead car battery

Have you ever been in a situation when you listen music in your car and your battery unexpectedly discharge or when you are going to get to work or an important meeting, but your car wouldn't start? I could say from my personal experience this is an awful situation. And not so much people know how to deal with it. Battery discharge can occur for a number of reasons: because of the diversion of energy, due to battery’s age, because of a defective generator, due to oxidation of terminals. Especially batteries discharged in winter. When it is not possible to replace the battery right now, the most effective way is to start the engine with the battery of another vehicle. The drivers called such method "lightening the car battery". For using this method, you must have the car kit power cables red and black with special clips at the ends, so called "crocodiles".

The order how to lighten the battery is this:

1. First of all turn off the ignition on both cars.
2. First connect the cable with the Red positive terminal of discharged battery, then with the advantage of the donor battery.
3. Connect the black cable to the negative (-) terminal of the charged battery and the other end is a unpainted metal part of the car that won't start, the battery out. It is best to do this, place the cylinder block engine.
4. Get a faulty car, give the work its engine 4-5 minutes. During this time, warms up the engine and battery will low recharge.
5. Remove the wire from the negative black-first disable the "crocodile", geared to the mass, then disable the second negative "crocodile" with the battery life of the donor. You can then disconnect the positive terminal, and the charged battery red wire pulled off last.
